I hope there are some aspects of game mechanics from the previous movie tie-in games, like taking actual classes and platform puzzles, playing Quidditch etc
Have none of you played those games or even know about them because few of them were actually good?

I have them on my shelf still. PS1 and PS2 versions of 1 and 2, and PS3 versions of 5 onward. Only ones I didn’t particularly care for were 4 and the adaptations of 7. I loved exploring the world and I’m ACHING for this new one so I can do it again!

I was wondering when I woke up and looked on that "other" site I didn't see this. It wasn't until I went some other places that I saw this was announced. Absurd that you can't even discuss this game there or you'll be banned. So hyped for this.

What's wrong with marketing a game that they have ... guess what ... marketing rights for?
How is that "Xbox game" when it's a multiplatform game? It is as much as an Xbox game, as it is a PlayStation or PC game.
Does this mean that console manufacturers cannot talk about or promote any third-party multiplatform game? Then who will for games that are releasing on more than one platform? By the logic* of your last statement, Xbox can't even hold a showcase as all their games come on PC day one?

I don't think she's making a very controversial point highlighting how easy it is for deviants to "transition" and intrude on female safe spaces. Considering it already happens, she's quite literally stating facts.
I can't stand JK Rowling and hated her before all the trans stuff. But her trans takes really arent dumb and from asking around a lot of women seem to agree with her but are too scared to admit it. So fair play to her for speaking up on it with the platform she has.

Repeat after me, Deviants do not need to disguise themselves as "trans" to intrude on spaces meant for women, that has been happening since the beginning of time. There are literally dedicated train carriages meant for women alone in India but men still go in there. Nobody is trying to disguise themselves as "trans" to do so. And no, wearing a wig and dressing as a woman is not trans, that's like saying crossdressers and drag queens are trans for wearing traditionally feminine clothing. She is not literally stating facts, she is fear-mongering with an old tired argument.
It is safe to assume you have been using public or shared bathrooms since you were old enough to use one without being accompanied, ask yourself how many times a trans person has accosted you in a bathroom while using it. Study shows that trans individuals generally avoid using public bathrooms because they are afraid of being assaulted or being confronted.

Nowadays it's all it takes to state you're one. And everyone is supposed to take you at your word.
I'm not worried about public toilets personally but I don't think women should be persecuted for finding it weird when they have men walking around naked in the locker rooms in, say, public pools. And why wouldn't people claim to be trans to end up in women's prisons instead of male ones? If you don't need to take hormones or go through surgery, but to just change your pronouns. You don't need to be a predator even, it's just a safer place to be.
In any case, those are sensitive issues that people should be able to discuss freely in good faith, without being called nazis. Thought policing is slippery slope. Men telling a woman that she should shut up about definition of what a woman is, is always priceless.
This isn't the point. Rowling is saying that making it too easy for someone to just proclaim they are Trans invites bad actors to abuse said policy. There are documented cases of men claiming to be Trans and then assaulting women/girls in bathrooms and dressing rooms. There should be a significant threshold for someome to do something as extreme as changing yheir birth sex. How is that controversial?
I mean, the bathroom issue has always been stupid. Why would you need to pretend to be trans to assault someone in the bathroom? The amount of documented cases is way to small to even bring up. If you are gonna assault someone what exactly does pretending to be a women do? Buy you two seconds? These places arent locked lol
