I think the biggest question is why in the fuck do we need a PLAYSTATION state of play for a MULTIPLATFORM game. This isnt even a timed exclusive like Deathloop and Ghostwire tokyo. This is a straight up Xbox game.

What's next? A fifa state of play? Far Cry state of play? Someone mentioned how 11 out of the 12 games shown at the Japanese state of play were coming to PC on day one.

It's just ad space, there's no reason to get that upset over it.

I never realized it takes place in the 1800s. That's way before even Fantastic Beasts. Interesting.

Booted up The Philosopher's Stone PS1 for a laugh this morning, and you know what? It actually holds up just fine for a PS1 movie game. I played a lot of those as a kid, we used to stay up all night beating them in one sitting. Might actually play through the full game, I remember it being under 6 hours.

I hope there are tons of secret rooms and passageways all over the place. Discovering those was my favorite part of the PS1 games, even though Hogwarts in those games was pretty small. I really hope they‘ve created the whole castle to scale this time, with hundreds of rooms and hallways etc. It would be cool if finding the right classroom between lessons early in the game was actually somewhat challenging, due to the sheer size of the castle.

It is Saint Pats, not April Fools. Unless you think a majority of Americans are going to get blasted and have a brown-out. Especially with it not being a federal holiday, the day is basically - if it is on a weekday - a chance to go out and get some cheap green beer, brisket and cabbage.

. . .now if it were on a weekend.

I think that part's kinda irrelevant, they said something like make sure to check our blog after for more info, so it's either an exclusive game mode like VR or some exclusive missions. As of right now the official website still lists the same platforms as before so I don't anticipate this being a surprise exclusive.

Besides, that last SoP had 80~90% multi platform games on it too.

True, but I don't expect any exclusive content and if there is a vr element it will be a separate game in my opinion, not another mode.
