NO PAIN TRANCE CONTINUE
Last night when I went to bed I looked to the other side of the matras expecting my kitty laying there. Instead there was a single shoe sitting there. I cannot for the life of me remember or even think of a reason it could've put it there.

Hence Poltergeist activity

I didnt sleep well for 2 reasons.

1: my place is haunted
2: early signs of dementia

Live from NeoGAF, it's Friday Night!
I locked my keys in my car this morning and I've been on hold with AAA for 27 minutes so far. This isn't how I planned my day lol. At least my car is in the driveway so I'm not stranded somewhere...
When i had the first real date with my girlfriend at my house she also locked her keys in the car. She had to call her dad at 3 a.m. to bring her the spare keys. Fun fact i didn't knew at this point was that my neighbour is her uncle. So when her dad ask where he should bring the keys she just said: "You need to drive to uncle Roberts house." :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Someone close that's studying that stuff.
Will you go in for further tests or do you gonna believe this right away? You sure have your problems friend but in my eyes you come off more normal than you think.

I may have dissociative identity disorder and I'm not sure how to feel about it
If true then this statement makes a lot of sense. :messenger_winking:🙈 Don't hit me!

I didn't know DID was a real thing.
I first came across the term playing Xenogears as a teenager, but I thought it was pure fiction. 🤷‍♂️

Hard to say when the current psychology handbook DSM-5 is an ever going means to an end that's operating from within a tightly held construct that's.... ill leave it at that

Believe is cutting off other possibilities.
If something makes sense it's worthwhile to entertain but that's as far I'll entertain it.

There are man-made metal leviathans lurking at the bottom of the ocean built to drop miniature stars on people, with their time underwater limited only by the needs of their mortal crew.
They’re powered by special rocks that will kill you if you’re not careful.

saw a band live the other day and it my first time seeing them! always wanted to see them live and finally got the chance.

but somehow feels like i've gone right off them. don't think i've ever felt this way after a concert before and i've been to loads over the years.

something about it just rubbed me off the wrong way. i'm not hating on the band because honestly it was a really good show. they sounded amazing and they were on point in terms of visuals/performance. i mean, you sometimes hear people say "they sound just like they did on the album!" and that's it. not one wrong note played and the singer got it right. was pure perfection.

i don't know what it is. maybe it's just me being a fucking weirdo. something felt off about it. they have like 9 main studio albums and about 6 other albums of bsides/soundtracks and cut songs. so of course not all my favorite songs would be played live but what they played was reasonable. maybe it was the interaction (or lack of) with the crowd? the support band was really up for it and encourging the crowd but the main act all you really got was "oh wow you're amazing!" "you're really going for it!". i suppose the whole thing felt "corporate". stick to a pre define set list and don't interact with the crowd. one of their songs is a tribute to their/my country and they didn't even play that as a one off. they stuck to the exact same set list as the other shows. this was their "Homecoming" show and there was no acknowledgement. i could've been miles away in another city or country for all they recognised their home country.

was excited to go see them and now i feel disappointed.

It kinda goes without saying, but I'm gonna say it anyway, mostly as a reminder to myself: taking some time away from a mix and coming back to it really does allow you to see (hear) things a bit more clearly. Been working on some new stuff with a really old digital workstation (hardware), and reacquainting myself with its mechanics in the process. After adding quite a bit of stuff, I'm finding I'm gonna end up nixing most of it. EQing is also a lot easier to pinpoint after taking a few days off. But when you're in the heat of inspiration, it's often difficult to stop.
