"Cyberpunk 2077 sequel that will prove the full power and potential of the cyberpunk universe."

Wait, didn't CDPR make the same sounding statements in the run up to 2077?!

I'm not buying in until I see actual gameplay running on PS5 or Series X.

The natural outcome after they divided their project teams into Witcher and Cyberpunk IP not too long ago. More surprised they have room for 3 Witcher projects.

Cute of you to think those consoles are going to even still be in production anymore when the next cyberpunk game arrives.

I would be happy if they just reused Night City and pulled a Yakuza. Change some things, new stories and characters - add some more features. Would save a ton on dev costs, time, and give us the definitive version of this city.
Could be very cool, indeed. Give us more interiors with all these mega buildings and so on. I'm still kinda craving that for any open-world game to be honest. A decent map, that is packed with area's to explore. Alleys, buildings, sewers and so on.

If they actually learned anything, it shouldn't even come out on these platforms.

Good points!

Wow thank you for sharing your purchasing plan for a game that has no name, release date, platform, or gameplay footage. Really valuable post there.

I never referenced my purchasing of the game. I'm talking about my due diligence.

100%. They're finishing Pacifica for the expansion. Finish North Oak (casino area), add more stuff outside of the city, polish the city vertically so flying can be included in the sequel. I would love that.

They have 1200 devs atm, these games probs going to come out in next 10-15 years if there all being developed under UE engine

After spreading themselves so thin that the entire dev-team had to crunch for over an year resulting in a game with so many issues that the CyberPunk IP nearly died before it had legs to stand on, I don't think announcing 5 new projects with smaller teams is the way to go. There is no more wiggle-room for any more epic blusters from CD Projekt Red. If they release another half-assed and buggy mess, their already tattered reputation will be unrepairable.

do not tempt fate do not contrain Wonder Woman's thighs do not do not
But erm Outsourced Witcher 4? Not sure Im ok with that unless its former MAJOR talent working on it.
The Witcher (4, 5 and 6) is by CD Projekt Red?
Thats Project Polaris.
Canis Majoris and Sirius are just set in The Witcher universe and developed by a third party made up of ex-The Witcher Veterens.
