Ghost of Tsushima + Red Dead Redemption 2. I basically want a samurai game very similar to Ghost, but made in Rockstar's engine, with Rockstar's attention to detail, world building and realism, with fluid Ghost swordplay, the Ghost levelling up mechanics (but a but more grounded), all different armour sets etc, but realistic dismemberment, etc.. Also, time wise, I'd set it forward in time a bit compared to Ghost, make the backdrop the end of the Edo period, you play as a Shinsengumi and make the map fucking gigantic and include all of Kyoto and its outskirts and surrounding countryside/towns.

Final Fantasy VIII + Final Fantasy XV.

World, plot and characters from FFVIII, but graphics, open world and combat from FFXV.

Shenmue and Yakuza -- Shenmue's sensibilities with Yakuza's story telling. I will always love Shenmue but I actually think the weakest part of it is the story. Well not the story itself, it's got a great lore and great world building, but the actual storytelling itself sometimes leaves a little to be desired with its sluggish bread crumb pacing. I love its ambition and I love the lore it has set up but I feel the story telling could be sometimes better in Shenmue. Where as Yakuza at least does a great job at a more conventional method of story telling. If I could take Shenmue's sensibilities and approach to leisurely open world and combine it with Yakuza's story telling then I think I'd have my perfect game.

No, this is not me saying Yakuza is the better Shenmue btw...they're both very different games at heart and I love both for different reasons...but I do sometimes think if I could take the best of Shenmue and combine it with the best of Yakuza then I'd have my ultimate dream game.

Skyrim+Dragon Age or Fallout+Mass Effect.

Basically just want a Bethesda RPG that has great companions with lots of dialogue, relationships and commentary on quests/events and not the paper-thin shallow followers from Skyrim.

DCS + Armored Core.

If it takes less than 15 minutes to run the startup sequence and stomp out of the hangar, it's for filthy casuals and I want no part of it :lollipop_pouting:

Wouldnt say dream game but...Two great 'Souls' games:

Onimusha and Bloodborne

We can name it...hmmmm.... The Devil's Vaccine

Horizon Forbidden West + Forza Horizon 5
battle exotic sports cars that transform into mechs and back as you ride your own mecha sports car in an open world post apoc mexico.

Mass Effect + Bully
Go on dangerous space missions as you attend intergalactic high school as a space cadet and make out with hot alien chicks in the hall.

Fallout New Vegas + Ghost of Tsushima
So everything amazing about Fallout NV but in a post apoc Japan setting and everyone has swords instead of guns, then replace all the shallow side quests of GoT with the deep sidequests of NV.

The Last of Us + Halo.

Master Chief must escort young Cortana through an apocalyptic world filled with infected Covenant soldiers. But to MC, this Cortana is just cargo... Or Humanity hope for a cure ?

Not my favorite, But EA should do this:

I present to you; BATTLEFIELD: RED ALERT

The Crossover nobody would see coming, EA owns the licenses to both acclaimed franchises.

FEATURES

  • 64 Player battlefields with the Soviets and Allies duking it out on a global scale, Utilizing a Multi-Player Tactical Campaign map. (Rising Storm 2's Multiplayer Campaign)
  • Co-Op (Up to 4) Campaign story, This can be used to teach players the game and set up the Multiplayer Campaign.
  • Stylized Art design.
  • OST by none other than Frank Klepacki.
  • Soldier and Vehicle Customization, With unlocks and cosmetic MTX.
  • GAAS Style.
  • Dedicated Servers and the Ability to Rent your own.

To win in multiplayer, you have to capture every territory on the overall tactical map or accrue more victory points, which you gain for winning individual maps. As you proceed through the battles, the equipment and commander abilities for both the Allies and Soviet forces will change to reflect technological advancements and events that happen during the Campaign.

Elden Ring and Halo,, the best of both worlds so to speak.. That's kinda what I was expecting or hoping to get with Halo Infinite when they first announced it, not the uninspired and unambitious crud we actually got.
