Meta launches Instagram-linked Twitter replacement “Threads” tomorrow

Love how these journoid bottom feeders were celebrating twitter's death just a few days ago and now twitter seems to have reached an all time high. Looks like people prefer free speech over Zuck's intrusive spyware that decides for you what's misinformation and what's the truth

Threads already said they don't want it to be a place for breaking news or angry discourse. It's like walking into a store that has a 'no, shirt, no shoes, no sale' sign without a short & shoes and being surprised when you are refused service.

Can you give me a TLDW on this I'm not going to watch Asmongold reacting to a video for 1 hour
He's not married to either platform and they're just tools that provide a service. He'll use whatever one that lets him do his job better. Ludwig talks about how he wants to be more than just another distraction machine and that while Threads might be cool now while there's not monetization, there's no guarantee it'll stay good forever once they start to monetize. Asomngold goes into the good things about Twitter and the bad things about Twitter, and also about Threads. He also gives general life advice about how to manage social media to not go insane, and how to use moderation tools to your advantage.

But I'm not sure why you need to listen to some hour long diatribe by some steamer to know that.
  1. Simply don't use these trash services.
  2. If you must, just stick to groups for things you are interested in. Ideally just hobbies and the like.
  3. If you're promoting a business; just post and don't bother reading the reactions.

Zuck would sell his own mother to the CIA to make more money, this is just a marketing slogan and nothing more. Threads will become whatever brings more victims to spy on, simple as that

Meta made a big mistake launching Threads will zero features.

If you can't search topics and you can't see trends... what the fuck is the point?

It may look like twitter... but it isn't even close. Twitter took off because there is utility to it. Threads is just random jibberish thrown at you... and absolutely no way to find what you want.

Point is for Zuckerberg to collect your data and sell it.

Cancel mobs are definitely crying because they can’t search for keywords in old threads to cancel people over.

Not surprised, its literally unfinished. It was never going to kill Twitter overnight.

The rushed rollout was to see if they could get people to sign up in the event of Elon screwing the pooch, and to send a direct signal to him that his platform wasn't untouchable.

It worked, and Elon behvaoir from that time period proves it.

Whether or not they are gonna capitalize remains to be seen.

Turns out rushing to release an unfinished product because you actually believed the media screeching about Elon 24/7 instead of using your own brain wasn't a great strategy after all, Zuck.

So now Zuck is playing 4D chess?

We got proof of this theory, or just fanfic?

Genuinely curious, no disrespect.

I didnt say he's playing 4d chess at all.

Hes not even playing 1d chess. He striaght up admitted he dropped threads early to capitalize on the trend and see what would happen. Hes basically focus testing.

Elon reaction was Elon being elon.
