No classes for Monday, Tuesday and Friday for me woo

I got Finals, but none of them during the actual PC events. Will be a close call for Sony's tho, I'll get home soon as I came so I dont miss the start

Wow. Is there going to be a new thread for the conference, or is Amirox going to update P. 1? I hope there's a new therad, because the information value of a thread this size is not particularly great in terms of finding key info if you haven't been an active participant from the start.

I'm not sure, but I figure there will be at some point :) ... and then it will require hunting and pecking to find the appropriate page, after the various "OMG I'M SO EXCITED" posts. I suppose the same goes for the other early posts...

No search functions gonna hurt too. I predict a summary on every page!

When you think that in few hours, a world of megatons, fakes and rumours will be bringed to his end within one single hour. l think I'll miss the monthly [insertsomething]-ton...at least until the next hardware transition, when I'll, once again, damn the little hide-and-seek game played by some way too secretive videogame companies...
I'm such a nerd :( .

Just to let people know, a blog-like section has been created on Everything and Nothing, and we are hoping to cover most of the major news over E3 on there, with plenty of screen shots and so on which can be linked to use on GAF and other message boards, and obviously you're all free to drop by if GAF and some of the other bigger sites are struggling with traffic.

The URL is:

Oh , and Mario VS Donkey Kong 2 . The Nintendo conference will be full of surprises so it should be great going by the hints of Perish, Kobun and Craig there'll be a lot more of DS announcements.

seriously though, it isn't going to look all that different from SSBM.

I can't imagine it will look much different. Unless they've been toying with it for a long time, I can't see how the Wiimote could work with this alone. It needs the shell. And it needs online. Enough said.

All I have to say is that if most major devs will support the Wii in the same fashion Ubisoft is...the console is obviously a must buy.

It sounds like EA is following suite...and SEGA/Konami to a lesser extent. As long as they can release a solid title every year, the console has accomplished more than the GC.

Meh. I'm sure SSBWii will look better than SSBM. Some character models (Like Mario's) might not get much improved, but overall the game should look clearly better.

SSBM's graphics suffered because they used many old N64 models, the Wii version probably won't suffer from that.

Umm, the enviroments looked really bad. There was definitely more possible even on the GC.
what i was trying to get at is a game with the kind of style SSBM has doesn't really fit with hyper-realistic types of graphics. I have little doubt that technically the next SSB will be several steps above SSBM, but it isn't going to actually look like a massive improvement. It's a case of style vs. technology.

the shell? I seriously doubt they'll do that. The shell will be nothing but an afterthought for 1st party games. For Nintendo it's going to be all about the wiimote. The shell is only there for developers who don't want to make anything different.

Maybe there will be a change of style.

nintendo could always pull of a Wind Waker (also with Mario).
