Outside of supporting a black owned ancestry site, 299 dollars seems like a rip off vs the other sites at 80-100 (I got mine for 80 earlier this year). Looking at their packages vs what I got, the only thing extra you're getting besides the satisfaction of supporting black people is pamphlets.
Do the other ones tell you what specific country and tribe you're from?
African Ancestry has people from those countries actually come to your house and celebrate, teach you customs, and more.
African Ancestry also has the largest pool of African DNA.
They also work with African embassies to help support victims of the diaspora.
I think there are more benefits here using African Ancestry than it being black owned. If you're black and you want more thorough results, it seems like the best to go for.
