The last game I can remember that had this type of hype leading up to its release was Fallout 76.
It's (not)trending on twitter every day. Forums and social media are all (not)about Goodbye Volcano High, and Sony/KO_OP hasn't advertised jack shit for it.

I haven't really been a KO_OP guy, but I am a something whatever, fuck you guy, so this game is not for me, but was the hype like this when a previous cringe game came out?
