Yeah I remember the first looked very soft too, due to processing. Then got improved a lot later on iirc for XSX when I revisited it.
As you know not my bag at all. But I wish it well, Xbox could do with a bit of a break and some positivity.

The story better deliver a "meaningful", fulfilling arc, because it seems that is the only thing this "game" has going for it, otherwise I smell a 6/10 on MC.

The woman is kinda lame for trying to go deeper on the xbox turmoil. You asked the first time, fine, to be expected. But then you follow up immediately after he gave you an answer indicating his intention to focus on HB2. It is clear he doesn't want to get into it; for one, he's not Xbox senior leadership, and secondly he is obviously there to market his game that comes out next week.

The last game I can remember that had this type of hype leading up to its release was Red Dead Redemption 2. It's trending on twitter every day. Forums and social media are all about Starfield, and MS hasn't advertised jack shit for it. I haven't really been a Bethesda guy, but I am a space...

Greg did something similar in their interview, it was obvious the developer wasn't suited or wanted to answer those kinds questions other than the basic lip service.

I need to finish the first... started it a few times and got 3/4 through before dropping it again. I guess I'll do that while I wait for a sale on II, doesn't seem like it will have a strong release honestly. I do want it to succeed though, so here's hoping!

It could have been a really good game for the line up, too bad the game didn't exist back then and MS just lied about it.
I'll still enjoy it regardless without thinking about the MS bullshit. The first one was pretty cool, nothing incredible but i think the ending was especially powerful and i remember the father figure and his voice actor, he was a great character.

I think this thread proves that anything Xbox will get trashed either way for the most part. The thread title is a parody mocking Starfield for marketing "too much." Now everyone hates them for marketing "too little." My advice is ignore what anyone is saying on here for the next couple of days and just try it yourself. Lots of people are going to try as hard as they can to ruin anyone's ability to enjoy the game for months. As for me, I liked the first game a lot. No reason to not be excited about this one dropping on GP. Probably going to be in my top 10 for the year easily.
