Funny fake things, like the steam-powered console, the UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTHA Xnd cosign and the Daigo thing are awesome, but straight up lies are just stupid and pathetic

The malicious ones are actually the best, my favorite April Fool's joke by far was when the dev for some Puyo message boards put in a puyo minigame captcha that forced you to make a 10 chain before you could post, then made a thread titled "post in here to become a moderator". Since phpBB forces you to resubmit if somebody else replies while you're still writing your post, nobody actually got promoted to moderator since we'd just keep making replies faster than they chain :lol

Second one. My current one was built with the same mindset I built the new one: to last as long as possible. The old one has 7 years already, and it was good till last year (not for games anymore, of course, but I haven't been playing many games on PC these days). Now it can barely run a twitch stream on one screen and twitter/facebook/gaf on the other.
