The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes |OT| Purple Link just didn't stay fresh enough.

Playing in single player because my online connection is acting up. The game is genuinely borderline unplayable. The fourth bossfight (the tower with the eye) was a mess to kill on my own. How the hell did Nintendo think this would work? Four Swords Anniversary is terrible sure, but at least I don't have to grab the AI every single time when I want to walk a few meters.

First 2 levels are a breeze though. Try the later ones

You'll find it easy to do now, especially since there isn't much fast-paced thought, but later levels will begin to prove why Single Player is not the way to go.

Tried third level, did way better here than with online people. But sure, I can accept that idea, that it'll get shittier the more complex things get. I'm kind of committed to beating everything both single and multiplayer anyway since it tracks progress for both, so I guess we'll see!

...really? I just played that level now in single player, breezed through it. Stayed in a single totem for the entire boss fight throwing bombs, just swapped to put arrow guy on the top at the very end.

Where does this fall in the timeline or does it at all? I watched the GameXplain review and those three characters aren't even Link.

Right after A Link Between Worlds. The guy you play as is Link, he's gone wandering after his last game just like the LTTP and OOT Links. He looks a little different now, but art styles will be art styles. The other "Links" are just random heroic dudes wandering the lands. NOA Twitter confirmed it via supposed developer quotes:

According to Nintendo, the game takes place right after A Link Between Worlds, and Link decided to disguise himself for...some reason, for this game. And the other 2 Links, who also look like Link, actually aren't, and are just 2 unknown dudes

That was very fun @zero @aaronrules! Sorry I was a bit slow at some points. I'm liking the game a lot. The soundtrack is great!

Agreed, I didn't mind that this was co-op heavy game but I trusted that Nintendo would at least make it easy for single player to get through, but nope they just copy and pasted the level and called it a day.

So dumb and stupid and I am not sure if I want to continue with the game.

*sigh* Looks like Majora's Mask 3D and Ocarina of time 3D are only good 3DS Zelda games.

They claim that it takes place years after Link Between World, but I ignored their statement that it's the same Link from that game.

That part was just sales talk.

...sales talk? How many copies are they going to sell by claiming it's a sequel to ALBW?

By appealing to the people who liked Link Between World or those who pick this game up but didn't buy Link Between World.

I dunno it felt like sales talk to me, especially when they tried to claim that Link in Link Between World is the same Link in Triforce Heroes but the one in Triforce Heroes looks nothing alike the one in Link Between World.

Still here. Wanna do some coliseum fights or continue with missions?

I've got a room here with another friend who's just starting out (he's up to Forest temple and has the first few outfits)

Are you up for helping go through these with us?

Sorry, was stuck in an ice world mission. I'd be glad to help if you still need one more though.

Same here.
I had loads of fun & I wasn't expecting much from the game!
Holy sh*t! In the past 12 hours I spent 9 on the game alone xD
& only cleared 4 worlds without any challenges or hunting specific items!
We'll put tens of hours in this game <3

Well, I just added everyone who posted in the Google Doc to my friend list. I won't be able to play until later tonight, but I'm looking forward to it!

Are those volcano mine cart bosses supposed to be really hard or is there a trick to it I'm missing??

I don't wanna die anymore and no one I've played with seems to be any better ;___;

How's everyone's luck been with random people online so far? I've been getting competent players just like in the demo, and the emotes were just about enough for us to pull ourselves together. And spam the thumbs-up emote after a simple solution.

Overall they've been extremely good, havn't had anyone hinder the game for me except the guy in the video I posted above a bit earlier aha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84Y1...ature=youtu.be

He's not the first Link to have a different look in a later game due to a change in art style...

Damn, me and a friend got really excited and were going to buy this so we can play over local wireless but we found out two people can't play. That really sucks and Nintendo lost out on two sales.
