Street Fighter V |OTV| BUFF MY MAIN & NERF THE CHARACTER I JUST LOST TO

So like, wtf do I do against the air legs pressure + random cr. mp? Shit seems unstoppable.

EDIT: Praying and spamming AAs seems to kind of work. lol

Almost all standing jabs and most crouching jabs are great answers to it since the hurtbox to the legs is lower than the hitbox.

If you react quickly, standing jab that shit. If you're a little late, crouching jab should work. Some characters like Birdie have some weird ass crouching jabs so that particular one might not work.

IMO, it doesn't require any better reactions than blocking a sudden overhead or pressing a button when the opponent suddenly forward dashes. It takes practice and conditioning.

You just have to remember that's something that Chun players like to use and will most likely be coming in most situations.

But yes, it does require reactions as just randomly pressing buttons expecting IA legs can hinder just as much as help.

Man, I can't wait for Alex's new costume to be dropped. I want it SO bad. I wonder if he will be able to remove the jacket the way Urien can rip off his clothing?

Just got enough fight money to unlock Urien. I now need 98,000 bison bucks to unlock ibuki. I refuse to pay for characters. I rather parry Mika's ass all day long.

People might disagree on whether Chun is broken or not, but I think there's one thing we can all agree on: She has the most bullshit crossups I've ever seen. The amount of ways she can pull off completely ambiguous and misleading hits from the air is absurd.

GGs vulva, as always your Chun is too much to handle. Glad I was able to steal a few matches with my Urien though.

Also, I only just realized that Chun's V gauge is only 2 bars... lol.

ggs, you might want to not always pressure on knock down and ease up on the wake up ex headbutts, you weren't getting much off them for the most part and sometimes ended up getting punished pretty hard while losing meter.

Yeah, I was just getting frustrated. Chun does that to me.

I've been having a weird problem lately where any stage except training stage would drop frames after a few minutes and eventually the game looks like it's running in slow motion. I have no idea what's causing it. I didn't always have this issue. Tried lowering graphic options and it still happens.

edit: Alt Tabbing seems to trigger it as well. My game is just locked at 50 fps right now. What the hell...

Anyone gone through something similar and have a solution for this? This is making online nearly unplayable...

Check the sf subreddit and look for some of the threads that were made around when the patch came out. I remember reading about this somewhere, but I can't remember if anyone ever found a solution.

Nice! That was a dirty thing to do at the end.
That French commentary though...you know it isn't very good when a non-French-speaker can understand 90% of it.

I have a highlight from this morning's online Urien fix.

Nothing fancy, but I finally managed to get some momentum against Karin (who usually gives me a lot of trouble).
Went on to lose this set, but felt good about this round at least.

Am I alone in thinking that playing Urien feels quite...honest? No cross-up, no watertight AAs, and a desire to conserve V-gauge means you have to build a very solid defensive game. His normals are good, but poor spacing results in those long limbs getting CCd for days.

My play is by no means perfect, but it's been fun going back to the fundamentals with him, especially after playing Laura since release.

Edit:
Found this while playing Mass Effect 2 recently and felt a warm sensation in my thong region:

You already know the answer.

Hardline is not worth it unless you want to feel like you're the star of a bad cop film.

I think he's being facetious. We don't really know what is happening but I'm sure we'll find out in due course.
Fair enough, though another possibility could be that they just wanted to hire a third Associate Producer (either to keep a more open line of communication between Capcom & the fans or to cover another fighting game that's in development while Brian & Peter cover SFV).
