Still a game released for the Xbox 360/PS3 generation and not a new game at all.
Which I didn't do. I said Halo is a big IP. With exception of Forza its still the biggest fish they have. No matter how much it faded in relevance in the last 10 years, there are still more than enough people excited for Halo, which is proven by the success of MCC's PC release.

It's insane to me that Battletoads was shown at E3 2018 as just a logo (kind of like Fable), and then a year later they showed actual gameplay. Now its been two years since Battletoads was revealed and that game is nowhere to be seen? Somehow we had a new Streets of Rage announced and come out in the time between now and the last Battletoads news we got.

It was good, diversity of games, and with game pass I want a lot of small experiences conjugated with big experiences, it sold me on gamepass, also in the future it will make more sense than now for some people, because that was a shift for a Netflix-ish model and people where expecting E3 model in a sense of big hitter after big hitter approach
MS may as well be. Their disjointed messaging and shitshow-quality showing can't hold a candle to what Sony brought to the table. May as well play in the same sandbox as Mario at this point. At least they're targeting the same demographic.

We agree on this one. Battletoads deserves so, so, so much better than what was shown.
I have to agree with this. If they redid it then I'm happy to wait. Would just like an update on what's going on with the game at least. MS has so many valuable classic characters and properties with Rare and hasn't used any of them since Banjo in 2008, unless you count the rerelease of old games via Rare Replay.

I feel like Streets of Rage 4 already filled up the itch for a sidescrolling beat em up. Give me 3D-Battletoads and make it a hard as balls with fun combat and coop. Can't be that hard.
I really can't believe that MS signed off on Halo and they allowed Hellblade 2 to even appear and yet have nothing to show. Some of the decisions in this showcase are really showing how broken MS is right now.

Well, Everwild looks interesting.. Waiting for some actual gameplay.
I have no experience with Phantasy Star, it looks like I have a lot of catching up to do because I like the art style. A lot.
Forza will be awesome as usual, no doubt about it.
The Gunk? I don't know right now but it looks nice.

There were quite a few posters that were absolutely insistent that Microsoft had something that was going to put Sony to shame graphically wise. I'm excited for quite a few of the upcoming Xbox games, but nothing was shown that's superior to what Sony has shown so far.Omfg. All? Lol, not if they remove 22 other games first. If all it does is promote Game Pass then the deals really are nothing and the only thing they do is hold this industry back.
Made by the same one(s) who made that cool Majora's Mask trailer. But Everwild is no slouch, there just isn't much they can do with a cel-shaded art style. I don't know if they can have PBR or RT but it's still a pretty game, I just hope there's more to do than in Sea of Thieves where there's no story or any sort of progression. No leveling up, just exploring... very boring concept but fun at times.sony is competing with pixar.
