They’ll be the same. This means that PS5 will be 1080P in night scenes because less CU, RAM bandwidth and lesser frequency CPU clock? Or does the SSD inside PS5 has a dGPU which will upscale it to 4K in night scenes?

The XSX video is from the developer 'in depth' WDL video running on XSX.
Looks fucking horrible on both.
Thank god im getting a PS5 to play actual next gen games at launch.
they wont be the same at all. They’ll be the same.
It's a slam against PS5 too. Console gamers unite!I just wanna say, im proud of all you. Both team green and blue coming together ❤
We needed a thread like this. Election is tomorrow, console launches next week. So much tension. All it takes is a well placed fool to stuff their foot in thier mouth and cut the tension.I just wanna say, im proud of all you. Both team green and blue coming together ❤
that looks good to you? it looks next gen? where is the lie?*yaaawn* what a low effort troll post
Yeah its nothing to do with MS, ubisoft always been shite...will look worse on ps5that looks good to you? it looks next gen? where is the lie?
you're too nice to these corporations. the game looks abysmal.
Yeah, fuck PC. Console bro's forever.I just wanna say, im proud of all you. Both team green and blue coming together ❤
Only if you buy 2 of them for SLI.IIRC a 3080 is more like $1400
A few more comparisons. Even on YT the difference is pretty obvious, also, I'm not shitting on XSX, see my previous posts.
Serious question: is this VRS in action? Whatever it is, it looks bad tbh:
Who was expecting XSX to compete with a 3080?
We don't even know how AMD's RT implementation compares to the Nvidia one
You aren't listening. That is not the series x version"Barely 2080Ti level" for a new gen console in 2020, with a 3.8 GHz Zen 2 CPU + a 12TFLOPS RDNA 2 GPU + 1TB NVME M.2 SSD + 16 GB GDDR6 RAM + Motherboard + 4K Blu-Ray drive + PSU + Input device + Case + OS + HDMi 2.1 cable, all those for a $500 MSRP, is actually insane value, OP.
Also, I don't think you understand the cost of RT, or how much of a giant leap it is over traditional rasterization in the world of 3D graphics.
Edit: forgot RAM and 4K Blu-Ray drive

Lower resolution, medium / high RT preset instead of ultra.
Barely 2080 TI level.
It's the version that Ubisoft put up running on the series X so it's got the next gen stuff going, there would be no RT otherwise. That being said anyone who expects a $500 console to perform at the level of a $700 card is crazy.Thread backfire.
Also this isn't even the next gen patched version. No one has access to that yet. So it can only improve, which is pretty impressive. Xsx and PS5 are massive leaps over current gen.
That's how marketing works. There is a day 1 patch coming. Check the WDL reddit and other dedicated forums.

He's being ironic.“barely 2080ti” is probably the most memeable phrase of 2020.
Prove this is in fact the day one patched version.YES IT IS, fucking read the thread, it has been explained 5000 times by now
I wouldn't say easiest but its the single most attracting implementation, where most of the current tricks failed to do reflections correct. Other things like GI or shadows can be pretty decent with probing or shadow mapping, so not something catch the eyes at first glance. Also, I wouldn’t really take launch titles as an indication of the Series X’s or PS5’s ray-tracing capabilities. These games are running on current-gen engines and the only reason you’re seeing ray-traced reflections only so far is because that’s the easiest type of RT to implement.
We gotta wait until 2022 at least to see next-gen engines built for these consoles and actually taking full advantage of the new hardware. And remember, ray-tracing will definitely mature over the course of next-gen, as improvements are constantly being made to data structures and de-noising algorithms.
500 dollar box vs 700 dollar gfx card?
i like how you double down.A few more comparisons. Even on YT the difference is pretty obvious, also, I'm not shitting on XSX, see my previous posts.
