I checked my email to see if I got one of those "apology/mistake" emails from Gamestop but nope. To my surprise, I got an "Your order has shipped" email lol. Funny thing is, the fortnite bundle shipment has a weight of 9.5 pounds and the normal XSS shipment has a weight of 4.2 pounds. Maybe I'm getting some coal in my boxes. We shall see.

I dont think it's even legal they can add on a surcharge of the difference to make it whole.
If you wanted to be an ass, you could probably tell your credit card company GS is wrong trying to charge you a second time. Just show them the bill of your original order. You never agreed to be billed the difference if there was a mistake. Take snapshots of your order where it said the second Xbox was $9.99 as proof as others have uploaded here.
It's like if you ordered a table and the company sent you extra chairs you didnt order, the company cant retroactively just add on an extra $400 for 4 chairs. Or another way, the table is $600 and 4 chairs is $400. The company said it's $600 for everything online. Looks like a deal and you bought it for $600. They cant add on another charge for $400 later.

Best weird deal I got was I ordered an ottoman from Wayfair long time ago when they were a pretty new company. And at the time they didn't even have a Canadian website so I got grilled like $100 duty!
They sent me a bar chair instead! I thought I got scammed since at the time Wayfair wasnt a known company. I called them and it was legit. They sent me the ottoman later. I'd never had a wrong order up to that point, so I asked if they want me to sent back the bar chair return to sender.
He said just keep it.
(Edit: There was one other time there was a small mishap. I ordered a dell way back and they were giving free 256mb USB sticks.... ya thats how long ago it was. They send me a 128mb stick. Called and they sent me a 256mb stick so I got two so I gave the small one to a friend. Aside from these two mishaps I've never got any giant mistakes in my favour)

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Once I ordered a new Dell PC and a giant 32 inch LCD monitor. This was around 2008. I get home from work one day and there are four giant boxes on my porch. Dell had shipped me two PCs and two monitors.
I contacted their support to return the extras - they told me it was their mistake and to just keep them. Was a total unintentional score. I hooked the two monitors up to the one PC, and gave the extra PC to a friend of mine.

The only sites that would maybe consider honoring mistakes like this are Amazon and Best Buy. And even then it's doubtful. Definitely not Gamestop. They can't afford any hits to their bottom line.

One tracking number is UPS coming from Texas, which should be their warehouse. The other is a fedex shipment coming from Nevada. But yeah, both are just waiting for carrier pickup. So we shall see come Monday or so.

Exactly. I’m no fan of GameStop, but people had to realize it realistically wasn’t going to happen. Still rooting for those that got shipping notifications and were only charged the lowered price. But they need to realize a lot of the time when it says shipped it only means a shipping label has been printed.
The standard Series S is now updated as on the way from NV. The Fortnite one from TX is still waiting for me.

Pricing errors do not need to be honored but charging more than what was agreed is absolutely unacceptable too. There is no way somebody can know if something is too good to be true or not as it's subjective but it's up to gamestop to correct that.
What gamestop should have done is contacted the buyer before charging them more than what was agreed at checkout. If it was a glitch on their end that charged more it should be dealt with by gamestop by contacting those who bought two and refunding them with minimal hassle to the buyer. Let's not blame the buyer here or make them seem like a crook buying stolen goods.
Wow. I really didn't expect to see these crazy updates. Cancelling just the $9.99 half of the order would have been bad enough. Doubling the charge is actually insane though, you could easily overdraft people that paid with a debit card.

Gamestop has honored mistakes it was only about a month ago they had used animal crossings for 9.99 and when they ran out even sent people brand new copies instead.
What they shouldve done in this case is just cancel the orders and send an email apologizing for the mistake like every other company does when this sort of thing happens.

Ok I was a bit nervous GS was gonna flake on me because one courier still hasn't updated beyond "Awaiting Carrier pickup" but I looked at their website for holidays..

I have no additional authorizations on my account aside from the initial $343 after shipping and tax, and the third xbox is almost shipped. The additional $299 for the third unit is only showing in the email they sent.

So for the record - here's what I have:
1) Regular XSS, shipped delivered today. No longer showing on my order.
2) Regular XSS #2, showing as awaiting carrier pickup.
3) XSS Fortnite edition ($9.99), showing shipped with tracking number, delivering Tuesday.
total charge to my paypal acct of $343.96 which has settled on my end, no longer an auth, and nothing else.
Seems like they tried to do some blanket fix to all orders when they were all in different states of shipment, etc. They could still try to charge me for the third xbox, but haven't yet, and if they do I'll just dispute it. I'd have happily accepted just having my order canceled outright since it was clearly a mistake, but trying to charge me extra (if they do) ain't gonna fly.

My bundle showed arriving Monday and s shipping. They somehow switch that and now it shows the s coming Monday even though the bundle was in the truck. I think their doing that and trying not to ship the other one. Then they can claim the 9.99 one didn't ship even though I have screen shots showing it on a truck.

I had an iPhone scheduled for delivery Friday and was on the truck allegedly and didn't get delivered and now it's scheduled for Monday, so I think it's just extremely busy routes not being completed in time or misloaded.

Who knows, it’s showing the same invoice and transaction ID as the original transaction but it’s not anywhere on my order. The original transaction was completed and settled this morning.

Regardless of the carrier used, Gamestop is pretty shitty at actually getting things out the door imo. I've had times where it takes them like a week to actually hand over the item to the carrier.
Anywho, I just received my points for the transaction. Since I'm a pro member, they have a 4x points promo going on now. So 12400 points received, not bad at all. Got more points than the Fortnite bundle was worth lmao.

Just a reminder: shipped could refer to shipping label printed only. Until it shows tracked to an actual different location, the delivery company may not physically have the item.
