My list

July:

Exoprimal (Gamepass)

September:
Starfield (Gamepass)
Lies of P (Gamepass)
Mortal Kombat 1
Payday 3 (Gamepass)

October:
The Lamplighters League (Gamepass)
Forza Motorsport (Gamepass)
Alan Wake 2
Spider-Man 2
Cities: Skylines II (Gamepass)

GP doing a lot of heavy lifting the rest of the year. Spiderman 2 and MK1 definitely day 1 buys.

Excluded Ubisoft games from the list since they tend to drop price massively within weeks of release. I can wait.

The first half was stacked as hell too. This has been the best year for gaming we've had since 2015, and I think it may actually beat it out.

Same way you preordered FFXVI months before release?

People are allowed to get hyped over stuff that’s not out yet, just like you.
Wasn’t anything about being hype for games…I was simply referring to OP calling then “quality” games, It’s impossible to know if a release will be quality. I like when people get hype for games. I didn’t mean any offense by it, was just questioning calling games quality before they know, sorry.

while I am excited about a lot of these games listed, I want to give a shoutout to DecaPolice. I rarely hear people talk about it but Level 5 games coming back in general is huge.

Despite a few blunders this year, the entire year is the of most stacked for quality games since 2017 for me. Zelda TotK and Hi-Fi rush have been fantastic. I'm playing through Street Fighter 6 which seems to be a huge improvement.

I am most excited for upcoming Final Fantasy XVI but don't have a PS5 so I will have to wait for it to come to PC hopefully. I'm also anticipating a lot more. I can't even name them all because I'll be here all day. I also think if Baldur's Gate 3 is anything like DoS2 in terms of quality, it will be a sleeper hit.

Maybe AC6? Nothing else coming out this year really interests me enough to be worth spending money on. Rather work on my backlog of games.

FF16, Starfield, Balders Gate 3, Spider-Man 2.

There are also 4 PSVR 2 games I want between now and the end of July - Synapse, Hubris, C-Smash and VR Skater.

Others purchases, if released this year:

  • Hollow Knight: Silk Song

You wish, buddy... as frankly do I. That is my number 1 most anticipated game with a bullet, since we are now post-Diablo 4.

As for things that are actually confirmed...

Day 1/can't wait:
Blasphemous 2
CP2077: Phantom Liberty
Spider-Man 2

Will 100% buy this year:
Armored Core
Baldur's Gate 3

Early next year, definitely:
Starfield

Waiting on reviews, but interested:

I just don't have the time to pile up a bunch of games... sadly, even 5 new releases for the rest of this calendar year is super ambitious for me. In fact I won't finish those 5 that I definitely plan to buy, but I know I'll be too excited for them to not get some early gametime in when they release.

I also have a gigantic backlog of games in progress, and haven't even bought very high level stuff like TOTK, Ragnarok, or SF6 yet. So I have my work cut out for me... hard to go buy anything like 10 new games considering all I have to play already.

I'm only super excited for Baldur's Gate 3, Blasphemous II and Rise of The Triad: Ludicrous Edition.

Cities: Skilines 2, Starfield and Assassin's Creed Mirage are a "maybe".

Armored Core, Baldurs Gate, Forza, Starfield, Cities Skylines, Phantom Liberty, and maybe Persona 5 Tactica.

The ones I'm 100% buying day 1 are AC, Forza, Starfield, and Phantom Liberty.

For Baldurs Gate I'll buy it if I have time for it but might just waited for the inevitable "Enhanced Edition".

Cities Skylines I'll need to wait and see exactly what is different. I played the first but I suck at it. I love building cities but I found it too difficult lol.

I like Persona games but that art style makes me cringe. Same reason I've never played the Persona Q games.

Trails into Reverie
Payday 3 (probably - if my group gets around to returning to Payday 2 to finish the new content)
Cyberpunk DLC
Silksong (lol)

Final Fantasy XVI is in the "Wait until it comes to Windows" bucket.

There is nothing i am excited about in that list.

Some of those games may turn out to be very good but the list still fails to impress me.

I go so far as to say that it is even disappointing.
