The only other current RDNA4 rumor going around is from MLID.Need a better source than RGT, who was completely wrong about RDNA 3.

MLID says:
close to 7900 XTX performnace at $400-$600
If N31 refresh is true, your 7900 XT will loseSo my 7900xt will still be superior to the 8 series.
Yeah that dude said RDNA3 was a monster just before releasr...Need a better source than RGT, who was completely wrong about RDNA 3.
Chiplets were done for cost effectiveness and yields rather than actual performance. Is it really that likely that they would abandon chiplet immediately.
And they aren't going for performance so why abandon the cheaper option? Unless they are mainly focusing on laptops and the steam deck etc and low power consumption is the main goal.Chiplets were done for cost effectiveness and yields rather than actual performance.
I wonder why they are so good with the Cpus and get almost nothing done with the Gpus. Nvidia is in far too strong position right now. And let's see, maybe I'll buy my very first Intel Gpu if they're any good. While RGT and MLID are both complete BS peddlers, AMD never misses a chance to miss a chance as far as graphics cards are concerned. It's pretty easy to predict that upcoming AMD cards will be disappointing- barely any performance lift, super crappy Ray-Tracing performance, leagues behind Nvidia in features such as DLSS and even getting wrong the only thing they can possibly undercut Nvidia on- pricing.
I think it's only with Navi4X since they can reach their cost effectiveness goals with the small monolithic die but this is just my speculation, they'll move back onto chiplets with RDNA 5 according to the rumours. And they aren't going for performance so why abandon the cheaper option? Unless they are mainly focusing on laptops and the steam deck etc and low power consumption is the main goal.
I really hope it does. I don’t think an impotent 8000 series would be fun for anyone. If N31 refresh is true, your 7900 XT will lose
Unless a miracle happens it doesn't bode well for the PS6 does it...While RGT and MLID are both complete BS peddlers, AMD never misses a chance to miss a chance as far as graphics cards are concerned. Depends entirely on Sony's design goals and performance targets. I reckon the PS6 will launch with RDNA 7 or later, by that time AMD should have a more fully fledged feature set with regards to ray tracing and upsampling hardware. Enough to catch up with its Nvidia counterpart? likely not.Unless a miracle happens it doesn't bode well for the PS6 does it...
Consoles don't generally have a straight GPU mapping to the PC side. Sony and Microsoft will customize things like the PS5's audio engine.Depends entirely on Sony's design goals and performance targets. Lmao was just about to ask what's up with the "Leonidas Thread" replies.Seems like a possibly interesting SAT question:
Leonidas is to NVidia as:
A. Rofif is to Forespoken
B. ChiefDada is to Spiderman 2
C. adamsapple is to phil's balls
D. All of the above
I'd say Riky is more of a fanboy than adamsapple.Seems like a possibly interesting SAT question:

Only if PS5 launch in 2030. RDNA5 2025, RDNA 6 2027. I reckon the PS6 will launch with RDNA 7
I'd react like 10x if I could. This post is almost too good.Seems like a possibly interesting SAT question:

v31 is 7900GRE ^31 7900XTX
Fish N33, Wheat Nas N32
But N48 faster in RT, than N31
RDNA4 lineup up 500$
it's middle. But 7900XT perfomance + faster RT, than N31 for 500$ gonna be hell value. But as a flagship for next gen?
If FSR3 delivers I will give them a hard look.it's middle. But 7900XT perfomance + faster RT, than N31 for 500$ gonna be hell value.
N44 is interesting looks like RX 7700XT/6800 or between 7700XT and 7800XT. it's tiny die, so should be cheap. maybe 300-330$
That reminds how I dug up some old parts the other week, the CPU was a top line one at the time and only used 88W! The GPU was mid to high range and only used 120W!I prefer my Graphics Cards to be energy efficient. I don't really like cards heavy on energy consumption. Same goes for the CPU.
There also high chance for FSR AI, in two ways For RDNA3/4 AI version, for rest simple, like XesS.If FSR3 delivers I will give them a hard look.
Do we know if’s $500? Wouldn’t be surprised if it were $650.it's middle. But 7900XT perfomance + faster RT, than N31 for 500$ gonna be hell value.
