His last game was Fallout 76 and it's in the 50's. He and Bethesday have a LOT to prove.
okay, let’s blame Todd for that game. That’s fine. Being the Face of the company isn’t the same as being responsible for every game that’s made - Miyamoto is the face of Nintendo but we don’t blame him when a game he helps promote is bad. But that’s neither here nor there.
let’s put that game on him. Even so, does one bad release negate a life time of massively successful hits? See, for a company like cd projekt red, it can be argued that maybe they don’t know how to make anything but Witcher games because they flopped so hard trying to make something else.
they put out one bad game out of dozens, and now we’re supposed to jusy expect their next games to also be bad and to also say “they have a lot to prove”
Nintendo put out Star Fox Zero. It wasn’t good. Dammit I guess they have a lot to prove, huh?
except they don’t. Nor does Bethesda. They have a massive track record of major successes. One bad game doesn’t negate that. A game Todd Howard didn’t even participate in development of. Yes he presented the game. Because he’s the spokesperson. But he didn’t direct it.
point is, if this game was coming to PS people would stop hating. Get over it. PS is getting deathloop and that’s it. It’s over. No more Bethesda games.
they are getting trashed out of jealousy at this point. Microsoft has something Sony fans want. It’s hard when the tables turn a little bit.
As a Nintendo guy, I’ve sat around for ages while Sony fans try to diminish a lot of Nintendo game releases just because they don’t have those games. It happened with BoTW and Horizon released at the same time. Going to happen again this year. Going to watch Nintendo games get dissed as kiddy and not being edgy like ratchet and clank or something. Bad graphics or whatever excuse.
this is just what Sony fans have done for my entire life. If other companies have great games that Sony doesn’t get, some fans get really fanboy console war attitudes and it’s sad.
