Real talk here, I understand why "fanboy" personas get banned. I really do. But gaming trash talk by itself isn't bad as long as we aren't flooded with random mongoloids. Like kretos shitposts like a man on a mission, but he was a funny dude and not a random Joe. Anyway I'm sharing my earnest sentiment on this one, Nintendo still #1 though LMAO.

I think you should. Opinion threads on older games are some of the best threads in my opinion. And I'm sure there are other people here who like the games. I liked the show and card game as a kid but never played any of the video games for some reason.I think Yugioh's videogame legacy at Konami is underrated. It literally came out before Silent Hill. Upon release, Yugioh Duel Monsters on gameboy outsold Crash Bandicoot 3 at launch and outsold Ocarina of Time in Japan. Of the top 40 Gameboy best sellers, 3 are Yugioh games. Its every bit as much a part of Konami as Castlevania or Metal Gear.
And lest you think its just an adaptation of a shonen jump comic, Konami's games actually helped influence the card game itself. For example Konami came up with the ability to set monsters face-down. The card game's evolving rules through the years & the videogames go hand-in-hand.

I work Monday-Saturday 9-5, with only Sunday off to relax. The only time I’ll do any overtime is on Bank Holidays when it’s double-time, and even then the day is slow because nobody calls in.

I haven't posted here in about a year, only shortly after I made this account. Feel like I should apologize and admit something though.
Truth is, this is an alt account for an account that was permd about 2 years ago, something I understand in itself is a bannable offense. My original account was made in 2014 iirc, and I didn't really like losing all that history and progress and pretend to be someone I'm not. It didn't feel right. I wanted to have a place to post about Japanese video games, but this wasn't my identity, and it didn't feel right pretending to be someone I'm not.
My original Battlechili account was perm'd for defending a rather weird Kotaku article (sounds silly but contextually it made some sorta sense). I also talked about things that frankly weren't really appropriate for a video game forum. I regret these posts, but they nonetheless happened and my main reason for posting them was because I felt criticism towards the Kotaku article held relevancy with regards to the reasons some Japanese games get their content cut, edited, or just plain don't come Westward.
At the time, I was frustrated however; I never received any sort of warning from a moderator asking me to stop or informing me what I was posting wasn't appropriate for the forum. I think ultimately that's what really irked me about it. Had a moderator messaged me, I would've gladly apologized and agreed to stop defending the Kotaku article and stopped posting things that were inappropriate for a video game forum. This never happened though and I was instead permabanned without warning, something I felt was unfair and I wish was handled differently. Anything a mod would've asked me of I would've agreed to. Regardless, I had repeatedly begged in emails to have my account back, which was rejected. Because of this, I made this account back then to start over. But then I stopped for the aforementioned reasons.
I'm mostly posting this now because I remembered this and I wanted to apologize for the rule-breaking and so that either I lose this account and never have a reason to post here again, or to regain access to my original account. I totally understand if mods choose the former, and I'm sorry for rebringing up something that I imagine y'all wanted to be done and over with 2 years ago.
TL;DR: this is an alt account, feel free to ban it if you want, though I put in my final request to have my original account unbanned, as I recognize I was doing wrong and never received a mod warning that I would've gladly agreed to.

Kotaku article about someone looking at weird cartoon porn. I think at one point the article mentioned porn of the Harry Potter game character models, which uhhhhhhhh
is kinda creepy to say the least. I kinda ignored this fact and was like "bro its just cartoons calm down" which is dumb, especially since those char models are based on real people. It was just reminding me of the way old Neogaf would ban games like Criminal Girls or Moero Chronicle from discussion and that rubbed me the wrong way. But it wasn't justified on my part, I was defending something that is genuinely creepy at best, which was totally not cool.
Kinda wished a mod would've pm'd me and said something like that to me back then, but whatevs.

Online dating can be weird or attract a lot of weird people, and is usually pretty demoralizing. I wouldn't take it too seriously. If something good comes out of it, good for you.
