This thing needs more time, it almost needs an entire reboot at this point. Animations are rough, the whole "lets make a GaaS" idea turned sour after everyone saw Anthem and then that awful Avengers shit.

I really don't understand this logic, we already had 4 full Batman games, why are we not allowed to get games about other heroes? Why are people so against this idea?

I personally loved playing the DLC episodes and challenges with all the various characters in Arkham Knight, and I wanted a game focused more on this aspect of the game, so I think the project is a great idea. It remains to be seen if it ends up being good or not, but to me the idea is really great.

People have been saying this game would be trash since day one only because it's not Batman / Rocksteady, it's not even related to today's showing. I'm simply saying that the concept in itself is great in my opinion, while a lot of people simple reject the idea, no matter how the game is.

Concerning today's video, I don't really understand since I thought it was pretty good, I don't see what was so bad about it. We will have to see more in depth combats to be sure, because depending on how you play, the arkham games can look exactly like what we've seen in this video, so we don't know if better combo are possible or not, it might just be the showing that was badly played, or the game itself being more limited. I'm so used to game demos not showing actual gameplay potential that I don't make my final ideas on such videos anymore.

Greed. Same idiotic thinking that approved that Avengers game. They all see the kind of money and success Destiny generated and want to replicate it. Anthem, Avengers, and now this. The idiots fail to realize alot of Destiny's success comes from its PVP component.

I watched about 10 minutes of it.

Last gen graphics aside the whole thing looks total corporate cookie cutter bullshit. This is a game everyone has played before with the Arkham games but at least with Asylum the mechanics were fresh and the atmosphere is still today some of the best available.

This though looks and feels tired and uninspired and no different then a Ubisoft game. No wonder I'm getting so bored of modern gaming.

This represents what I don't understand in a lot of comments about this game around here. From what you say I understand just the pitch alone is something you're against?
It seems like no matter what the game would be like, people decided to hate on this game from the beginning just because it's not about Batman, and I'm super confused about this.

I disagree with a lot of comments here because I thought the video looked decent (still need to see more in depth combats to see what it offers or not), but still, not liking the game for whatever reason is one thing, but it really seems like people just totally hate the concept of having a game not about Batman. I don't understand why it's that much of a problem, we already had plenty of Batman Arkham games, and while I loved them, I'm excited to see something else with other characters. It just seems very strange that people are so against the idea of a game about other DC heroes.

Unless your comment is only about having an arkham style game with coop, then it's another story.
(I'm saying all this because you say that you don't understand why this concept was even pitched, so I assume you don't like the basic idea of the game, and not just disappointed with this new video).
