Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Most are not though. There are pushing 70,000 mods available for skyrim on PC while just over 4,000 are available on Xbox.

As long as the goth tiddy alien monster mods make it, it's all gravy.

Can’t Git Gud
PC if I will play it at all.
I was huge for their every game since morrowind... but fallout 4 was so bad, it took the life out of me. It killed my last few remaining braincells.
But when I think back to Oblivion and Fallout 3, these were amazing games

Assuming this year - most likely on here:

For TV I have it plugged into GPU Dock - but it should at least match Series-S 30fps in handheld mode too.

Oblivion was my first Bethesda RPG. I know the level system is kinda broken but I just love that game, I have so many good memories from it, and the ”coming out” intro section is to this day my favorite in the whole hobby. So awesome.

I have more hours in Skyrim though, it’s the better game imo, better dungeons, mod support is nuts too and it has a more living world, but I’ve always missed the green lush nature Oblivion had.

I wish I had played Morrowind back in the days, so I had some nostalgia. Wife loves it but personally I just can’t deal with the visuals, looks super old and super janky.

PC because it's probably gonna run like shit and need mods/unofficial patches. It was the same for Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Playing them on PS3/PS4 was awful and one reason I wanted to move to PC.

If I had the next-gen xbox I'd play it there, cause my PC is kinda dogshit so wont even bother running it on PC. Only if the game comes to Geforce Now then I'd prolly play it there.

Fair enough but it still seems uncertain for Starfield:

No, Starfield does not appear to have cross-save support at this moment in time.

Neither Bethesda, nor Microsoft has announced the feature, and the game’s store page doesn’t feature the ‘Play Anywhere’ or ‘Xbox Cloud Saves’ tags.”

“Well with how much modding happens on Bethesda Games especially PC I would be surprised if they took the time to work on cross saving as it could probably corrupt your saves,” Reddit user YahwehPaysuggests.”

I’ve seen the Xbox Cloud Save feature on Microsoft Store though so maybe the store page just isn’t properly updated.
Ah ok that changes things for me.

PC gamepss then. Maybe steam for steam deck compatibility…..

Every Bethesda title they have release under MS has been play anywhere. I wouldn’t worry about it.

This poll will largely reflect the fact most people here game on PS5.

I will play on PC ,only thing that makes me consider console is HDR on an OLED TV.
You could always just hook your pc up to an OLED TV, I never understand this type of comment. I have my gaming PC, Switch and PS5 all hooked up to a 77" OLED. My secondary PC hooked up to a tiny ass monitor.

XBox Series X. I won the lottery...kinda. My mom's estate didn't go directly to me because I was wasting money on escorts and high end hotel rooms. I got put under tutelage. Now that is gone, and I will inherit bigly come this autumn. So I'm nabbing a PS5 and a Series X at ONCE. Oh yiss.

I hope my PC (r5 5600x + 6700xt) can run it decent @1440p. Otherwise I may just do Xbox. But I'll probably alternate between both for a bit. Praise game pass.

I wasn't worried either...

Until the official Bethesda support Twitter account confirmed it was Play Anywhere, only to later delete the tweet.

Really hope it has cross-saves 🤞🤞

I’m not worried for myself, I’ll go with Steam so I already know I won’t be able use the same save. But I just thought those who use Gamepass should know that things aren’t perfectly clear yet. See it as a pleasant surprise if it’s there.

PC. I’ve began the process of selling my XSX. Recently tried out Fallout 4 and it feels awful at 30FPS. Starfield without VATS will be horrific.

Hum, I think the version available for the XSX is running at 60fps. At the very least you should be able to enable FPS Boost in the settings?

Yeah I know if can but by default it’s 4K 30fps. FPS boost is 1080/60 but I wanted to try a creation engine fps in 30 to see if it was bearable.

I will play Starfield mostly on PC at 1440p 60 fps, a framerate that the console will not be able to do but, thanks to shared save games and GamePass, I will likely play it from time to time on my Xbox Series X just for that large OLED screen cinematic experience.

PC for sure, imagine playing Bethesda games on console, you miss out on the extremely handy console command system, its an entire thing of its own, lol.
And ofcourse the many mods, community fixes, the tweaks, like for me its the optimal choice.
But i heard the game is well optimized for console this time, unlike previous Bethesda games.

PC. If it reviews well and performance is good on a 3080 I’ll buy steam. If it’s subpar I’ll just gamepass it.

Xbox for me, PC games always seem to have issues for me that I just can't be bothered with. Maybe in PC later if there is a mod I want to try.

So now that I have a decent PC along with my PS5, can I just buy gamepass on PC for one month to play this game? Sounds dumb on Microsofts part if true.
