You're on a forum that voted it the 2nd best game of the last decade.Gruesomely overrated by Nintendo loving manchildren and pansexual, genderfluid game journalists.
It's okay. Sometimes fun. Sometimes boring.
Oh, you're right. Silly me. No dissenting opinions allowed. You're on a forum that voted it the 2nd best game of the last decade.
What you offered wasn't an opinion or dissenting one at that, it was salt.Oh, you're right. Silly me. No dissenting opinions allowed.
I don't give a fuck what the forum 'voted for'. Don't make me laugh.
Huh? What am I 'salty' about? What you offered wasn't an opinion or dissenting one at that, it was salt.

I'd say you're the salty one here, bucko. I offered an opinion on a video game. You don't like that opinion, and now you're acting like a little crybaby bitch. Move on. Some people don't share your taste in toys.
You didn't answer. What am I 'salty' about?
how about you fuck off dip shitYou didn't answer. What am I 'salty' about?
Lol. You cannot be serious.how about you fuck off dip shit
you don’t like the game, we get it! shut the fuck up and find another thread
You’re being a little bitch. Shut up and move on, unless you want to keep arguing about a video game with a guy who was just trying to reminisce about itLol. You cannot be serious.
Oh my god. You ARE serious. Lordy. This is maximally cringy. You’re being a little bitch. Shut up and move on, unless you want to keep arguing about a video game with a guy who was just trying to reminisce about it
Oh yeah why stop now? you’ve already gone this farOh my god. You ARE serious. Lordy. This is maximally cringy.

Fair critisim hopefully they touch up on them in the sequel. It's incredible how this game sabotages every one of its mechanics
Here, one of Zelda's best combat system yet. But wait, here's also weapon degradation.
Climb everywhere! But wait, when it rains ... It'll suck. And it rains a lot.
Go anywhere! Actualy, don't. Not until you have the right gear for it, or you gather a lot of ingredients to cook a lot of food that makes you capable of exploring this area.
Here, have your horse! But you can't call it from everywhere. So always stay close to it.
Explore, there are thousands of things to find! Thousands of koroks seeds or shrines, I mean. Nothing else.
I spent too much time discussing about what I think about this game here, so I'll just leave it at that
Many console exclusives are or does anybody honestly think TLOU2 deserves 53 * 100/100?Gruesomely overrated by Nintendo loving manchildren and pansexual, genderfluid game journalists.

I see where you're coming from and I believe some of these will be addressed in the sequel, mainly the dungeon aspect, and I personally hope they deal with weapon degradation. I also think there should be more worth while items to gain while exploring, but not how ac does by that lvl gating bs or gear score. You're right about the side quest, they aren't very rewarding but I personally never focused too much on them until after I beat the game. Tbh I don't see anything wrong with the horse and traversal is made easier the more you explore with more towers unlocked and shrines lead to fast travel. But at the end of the day BoTW has it's short comings and I believe in the zelda team to do right by the fans.I dont think i have ever played a video game that went out of its way to stop me from having fun. you brought up weapon degradation, and rain, and i will add horses and cooking to that. half of the time, the game just wants to punish me and make me walk miles on end.
they call sony games walking simulators, but this is by far the game that made me walk the most. the dungeons sucked like you said, and tbh, i think the dungeons are what make zelda one of the greatest franchises ever. throwing away their soul to chase some open world fads was a betrayal i thought zelda fans would never forgive, but i guess they were never really zelda fans.
i was watching this clip on youtube of some guy taking out one of those centaurs. its supposed to be a high level boss takedown video. he was all decked out with lots of fancy swords and gear, and i am not kidding when i say this but he broke like four weapons before i stopped watching.
the game is a parody of itself. nintendo learned all the bad things from ubisoft, and none of the good things that make ac games fun to play. skills, better combat, rewarding exploration, side quests, all the things open world games have taken so long to get right. all missing from this game. i remember grinding for the master sword for hours and it literally broke in like 10-20 hits. i quit the game right then and there.
the combat dungeons are copy paste. the puzzle shrines are uninspired and feel divorced from the base game. they shouldve been incorporated into the dungeons in the story modes.
there are plenty of games this gen ive found to be overrated. witcher 3, rdr2, uncharted 4, mario odyssey, but upon replaying witcher 3, i was able to find some redeeming qualities. it was fun to explore. fun to play. deep cusomtizaion. great story. same with rdr2 and uncharted 4. i still think u4 is overrated, but i did a complete 180 after giving witcher 3 and rdr2 an extra 10-20 hours to get better. and they did. zelda never did. its the same game all the way till the end.
like u4, i do understand that there is lots to like here for people who like this kind of stuff. but like u4, i think its a 7 out of 10 game at best. best of the generation? not even close. by any metric, visuals, story, combat, game design, gameplay loop, everything is lacking.
lets hope nintendo ignores all this praise and understands that this is not the way to take the franchise.
Indeed it was, it too was one of the greatest games ever made.Op, The Witcher 3 released 6 years ago, not 4...
Modern day ACs have completely shit the bed with their level gating. I was talking more about ac games that came before it. Black flag, unity and ac Brotherhood. I REALLY wanted to enjoy this game. It was the first game that I got for my Switch. But it tries really hard to make the experience less enjoyable at every turn.
It has so many design flaws that calling it one of the best games ever is almost painful.
Exactly.Good game? Yes.
Overrated yes.
It's not one of the best game of all time, just a good game.
One of the best games I have personally played. Top 20 all time for sure.
Weapon degradation I got used to eventually and I didn't mind it. I liked how it forced me to switch up my weapons. The main issue for me was thr lack of enemy variety and the lack of real reward for clearing out enemy camps. By the end of the game I was just running past them.
I was ready to accept your opinion, butI'd rather korok seeds that will expand my inventory thanks some meaningless bit of text an intern wrote scattered around the world.. or worse 5 percent chance of health up on parry when close to water.... Or some arbitrary stat.
Have to disagree with every statement if I'm honest.. game is a master piece. Only thing lacking was story... But I made my own stories. Collected every single Korok, shrine etc.. maybe you just weren't good at the game or took the time to get good.
