We haven't seen anything new for Loot/Items so far. I wonder what tricks they have up their sleeves.

That's precisely it.

You can play Diablo Immortal just fine until endgame. You'll probably have a good time doing so.

It's at the endgame where the problems arise, because the focus moves away from progressing through new content to optimizing/maximizing your character which is very pay to win. That's why I continue to recommend D:I. Play through it to the endgame because its a genuinely good game and drop it once you get there.
Yes, it’s like weed. Just do weed, then some harder drugs like maybe cocaine, but then stop at heroin because that’s addictive so it should be easy to stop then, right?

Yeah, they're pretty badass. In terms of art direction this game is already MILES better than Diablo III.
I fear that this will last for like a month, then Blizzard will release/sell some special sets and pets and whatnot, looking goofy again. And everyone you'll encounter online will look like an anime character with wings, glowing shit etc.

You can easily solve latency spike issues by either having high enough bandwidth from your isp that you can service every device that demands bandwidth or you can get a router with qos. People in your house streaming shouldn’t be causing laggy games in 2022.

There are plenty of arpgs with solo play. Diablo needed to evolve if it wanted to capture a new audience as well as retain more players.
Im sorry, but no game needs to be online only to evolve.
Good example: Diablo 3. it's onlind only on pc, and yet, still works fine as an offline experience on consoles.
Let's be honest, blizzard's issues is with cheaters, so, why not make it so the offline characters can't join online?
It's a simple solution. hell, if you get the game on console and don't pay for a sub, you arent taking part on the online aspects anyway, besides being forced to be connected to the server for no reason at all.

Love the shared world approach. One of my favorite things from Destiny. Everything for Diablo IV is sounding really good. Hoping for a good end game experience.

This looked super fun tbh. Way better than I expected, will definitely check it out when the time comes.

Just hoping they go easy on the MTX..
I cant imagine they will go easy on that. And with the late game grind that drives the mtx i doubt reviews will pick up on it.

Small bump just because I saw this news.

Get a tattoo, get beta access... its a stunt for sure, but how many sad desperate people will get a corporate tattoo for beta access to a GAAS title?

I pray this game returns blizzard to god tier developer status.
With basically all the old Blizzard veterans gone and the company caught within the abomination that is corporate Activision-Blizzard I'm pretty sure a snowflake has better chances on a hot summer day than your wish becoming true.
