Okay you convinced me on going wretch. Did the same in DS3 and really enjoyed growing up step by step.

I really think it's the way to go, especially now, for souls vets. If you're new, maybe not, but it wasn't bad at all. I have all slots filled now except the talisman. Got my mount and it controls beautifully. I can't get over this game. Better than I thought already. So many awesome encounters already that I won't spoil.

Doesn't that unlock with some kind of keystone? As far as I know (very little) those are like Pharros doors in DS2.

You can start with a key I forgot the name of it now but it's a gift at character creation. It is a one use item like the Pharros lockstones in Dark Souls 2

That first page is brutal even on PC. Basically impossible on mobile.

According to taskmanager the first page uses 4328MB. First page is larger than the entire Nintendo 64 library.
