Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is one of the most stunning games the PS5 has to offer, pushing the console in ways that will be hard to surpass. Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart PS5 Performance is simply stellar be that the 30fps mode, 60fps mode, or a mix of the two this game stands out as a showcase for the PlayStation 5 console. If you've been waiting for one game to make people go wow, be sure you take a look at our full breakdown of frame rate, ray tracing modes, and a deeper look at the technology behind this stellar entry from Insomniac games. We look at Ratchet and Clank Rift 60fps mix mode and Ratchet and Clank 30fps Quality mode with Ray Tracing here. We also use this to measure Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart Frame Rate across both modes. This Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart Performance Review brought to you by NX Gamer!

Notable quotes. Says the game feels completely impossible to make on anything OTHER than the PS5. I think this is the first we've ever heard an analyst say that, let alone a talented analyst like NXGamer.

"Ray-traced reflections, industry leading PBR materials, jaw-rendering modes and the poster child for that SSD and core memory subsystem of the Playstation 5. It's not just a gimmick (the level/world instant transitions from rifts) but it offers entirely new gameplay mechanics impossible without it and the results are out of this world... literally."

"Everything from the visual quality, the use of HDR, the 3D audio and interaction of the world, the mixing up of that SSD and data transfer in and out of existence, the use of those haptic feedbacks. All of these and much more besides makes the game feel completely impossible on anything other than the Playstation 5 and that is exactly what next-generation is all about. Insomniac have certainly brought the goods."

I imagine so, waiting for DF's analysis on that. But even so, it's still quite impressive as a target.

NXGamer said it was native 1440p in the RT Performance mode and no drops in native resolution from what he saw but DRS is enabled. With Fidelity mode, he said what he saw was native 4K and didn't notice any drops either even though DRS is enabled.

DF said in their review that for the Fidelity mode, it was mostly native 4K with drops to 1800p at the most action packed scene (DRS is enabled up to 60% of 4K resolution) but the common resolution is native 4k.

How does he know DRS is enabled if their are no drops?

Hum? Jim is very happy he give green light to R&C.
He is basically delivering you what he promised... next-gen exclusives.

Lol just wait until the ps4 port is announced in a couple weeks
He is still waiting Demon's Souls and Returnal like you probably said in the previous threads.... these couple of weeks takes so long, no?

Just to be clear, he seens to be referring to the Playstation platform meaning this isn't possible on the ps4 or ps4 pro.
