New Nintendo Direct to be broadcast tomorrow (Now-Spring 3DS/Wii U titles)

This is what I suspect will be shown. It is a bit of a fanciful list.

  • A few words on the MiiVerse 3DS launch.
  • A bunch of new communities for the 3DS MiiVerse for virtual console games like Wario Land, Shantae, River City Ransom, et cetra.
  • One of those new communities will be Super Mario Bros. 3. The game will release on both the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console after the direct.
  • Dragon Quest VII 3DS localization. Late Spring for that one in North America. (All of my predictions are for North America.)
  • New trailers for Bravely Default, Layton VS Wright, Denpa Men 3, Mario Golf, and others.
  • New "Basic Bundle" for the Wii U that comes with no physical games but does include a $10 certificate for the eShop. This bundle will cost $259.99 MSRP.
  • As a means to encourage people to use the eShop and link accounts, every account linked to both a 3DS and a Wii U will get a $10 credit.
  • New trailer for Mario Kart 8. It'll be early March.
  • DLC for Super Mario 3D World.
  • Special Anouma Shadow Link will appear via SpotPass.
  • New 2DS color: White & Pink.
  • 2DS launch in Japan. Black & Blue. White & Red. Black & Red.
  • Monster Hunter 4 in Late Spring.
  • Circle Pad Pro for the 2DS to be included in a Monster Hunter 4 2DS bundle.
  • Three new Puzzles: The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
  • Super Mario 64 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. Late Spring for Mario. Announcement of Majora.
  • Crunchyroll on Wii U/3DS.

Year of Yoshi...it's too obvious. Yoshi's New Island & Yarn Yoshi are both coming next year...then you have Mario Golf & Mario Kart which also feature Yoshi lol. Toooooo easy

I can't even begin to imagine how much of a monstrosity that would be, haha. Would it just be a massive hollowed out plastic that increases the length and width of the 2ds by an inch in all directions or what?

lol, I know you know this, but it's the same predictions I made a week ago. I changed Fire Emblem: Radiant Anthology to Fire Emblem: Radiant Saga, though. Sounds catchier.

But yeah... Yoshi in Smash Bros. is a ridiculous prediction. Renders the whole thing unlikely!

Honestly this is probably the most realistic prediction. I'm sure they'll have one big announcement, but I don't wanna risk getting hyped for nothing. I think January is when they'll drop all the megatons. Making some big announcement won't boost holiday sales by that much, so ride it out and save the big guns for January when people will be questioning why they should still buy the Wii U

Just bought a 3ds so the first time I've been excited for one of these :)

Majoras Mask 3D would make me a very happy 3DS owner.

Also anything on Super Smash Bros 3ds, and any new titles, honestly not really sure what I want other then that the catalogue is pretty good as is.

The only thing conservative about this list is the lack of Shenmue 3 on Wii U, which is obviously inevitable at some point.

...And after Sony cancelled The Last Guardian and dismissed Team Ico, Ueda has joined Nintendo and we are porting The Last Guardian to Wii U. Coming in Spring 2014.
