So quick question: did they confirm that this version will work with Playstation VR? I mean, given their track record of releasing several iterations of the same game a la Street Fighter.

They confirmed, but nothing more on the details. It most likely won't support it at launch.

Awesome. I'll most likely import it then.

Also I'm extremely glad they're also paying attention to the butt in this new engine. You could absolutely tell that all the love went to the boobs and the asses were just an afterthought with the first one.

LOL

Well, ordered from NCSX.

Now to install that Rosetta Stone Japanese I got on Prime Day...

I think you're overestimating what'd be required to play it. If it's like the first two, you'd basically need to just work out what a couple of selections are, and listen to if the girl sounds annoyed by what you just tried to get them to wear (or just watch all the hearts disappear, and the gift get returned... again)..

Ah, such happy memories. :)

Hi !
I liked the first Xtreme a lot and I was thinking of buying this one as well.

Believe me or not, I really like the volley ball game and before preording, I wanted to know if it would still be there. I know it's mentioned on the official website but since it's not longer "beach volley ball" I was thinking maybe it's just a small mini-game now.
How the 2nd episode handled that ?

Don't know about this one, but in the 2nd game it was still quite a large part of the maingame.

They added minigames as a distraction, but volleyball was still the main source of income (unless you used the sign-out casino glitch) as most mini-games gave you peanuts. That said, I like the volleyball in the first game a lot better then in the second game. It was easier as well.

Thanks, exactly what I wanted to know.
I think I'll wait a bit and probably preorder it. But there's no way i'm playing this on a big screen (on the other hand there's no way i'm playing it in the bus either haha).

Seems like CDJapan also carry the Saikyou Package

Important Note: We received a special request from a customer through our Special Request Shopping Service to make this item available at CDJapan. This is not a regular product that we carry normally, and the price includes our fee to specially obtain it. However, we welcome orders from anyone interesting in purchasing it. EMS / Registered Air Mail shipping charge is not including. Please note that cancellation and return won't be possible after you order this product.

Yeah, when someone does a special request, they leave the possibility for others to order it as well. Just made one for the Dragon's Crown ebten pack myself.
Will just get the "regular" PS4 CE though.

Tell us about the minor update!

It's just mostly talking about how the game came to be.
There are some images showing the proposal for the project, but anything that might be interesting is blocked off.
There isn't really any new info.

I only found this from famitsu site.

I wonder what they blocked off...

Will have to look for the full scan, and call me crazy, but that blacked out part near the vita suspiciously looks like a possibility for another platform (PC/NX?). Left might be a minigame/feature they're hiding for now.

Keep in mind that play-asia is usually the only one selling asian editions easily to the west, so they avoid to say if it's in japanese editions.
They said the same for DOA5LR, but the japanese edition had english subtitles/menus as well. When you make a game and have english ready, you usually include it in every copy even if a country won't care about it.

That's a good point. Is there any way to find that out about JP games before release?

Not that I know of. But usually, when it's from a big publisher (like KT) and is getting a version for asia with english menus, it's a good hint.
Will still order the jpn version because it's cheaper and there might be guides anyway.

Yeah I'd rather order JP because there are more options for where to get it. Play-Asia and customs just will never be friends

I hope this one does this too then.

I honestly would if I didn't made a big order from japan last week.
Shipping rates are expensive enough from there, so I only buy magazines when they are special issues or when I can bundle them with another order.
Also, sadly, can't really read japanese. So only hoping on context to see what those blocked parts are :/
It's digital and only like 350 yen. There are no shipping fees.
If you can't read the Japanese I'm not sure what kinda context you'd get (゜_゜)

Oh nice to know! Sorry, was at work, couldn't open the link and thought there was no digital option. Thanks again, will check it out :)

Will the Asian version have English menus or only subtitles? Also, if I import that I have to buy DLC from that region, won't I? Which means an extra PSN account. Hm...

It'll be full English text. Menus, subtitles, the lot.

Also yeah, you'll need a HK PSN account or something for DLC.

The menus, subs and even the trophies should all be in English. At least, that's how it was with all the other Asian games I've imported that supported English. I obviously can't guarantee it, though.

And yes, you'll need an Asian account for DLC. But on the plus side, prices in the Asian PS Store are usually lower than the Japanese store.

This would be a nice surprise.
