My problem with original reveal was they showed NOTHING, not even CG trailer, just a title and yet they put 2021 on the trailer anyway which it was clear to ANYONE (including devs themselves) it wasn’t going make that date from get go, they just put that there for false hype knowing 100% it wasn’t gonna make it.

It did it's job as a marketing lie : to fool the ignorant masses and hype up the fanboys with blinders on. Anyone with a brain who was paying attention saw it for what it was.

Starfield was delayed so some are now really hoping for that God of War delay huh...

Anyway, still hoping for 2022

Some are just trying to lower expectations as not everyone here are single platform whiners. We went from Having Zelda, Starfield and GoW to play over the holidays to hopefully still getting GoW, but digging into the backlog or playing something we wouldn't have played.

I am wondering if some company will try to pull something in, possibly in a not polished state, just to take advantage of the huge hole there is for major games this holiday. Forespoken and Gotham Knights likely just added a lot of sales. Also Harry Potter. That went to wait for sale to maybe day 1 for me now because what else is there?

it’s probably been shifted around internally a bit, but i’d be shocked to see it miss 2022. It’s building off it’s predecessor and is cross gen. I think they make it happen.

If they were gonna delay it, they would have done it already with that Cory Barlog update video. I think its dead set to release not only this year, but within the next 5 months aswell.

The theory that I have is that they will either announce a delay before they show it again or they will announce a release date when they do.

I'm leaning more towards the game coming this year based off the evidence that we have. A delay still is possible though but I have my doubts on that.

If anything this will all end soon. But even if we get a date people will still claim that it's getting delayed or that Sony is rushing the development.
