Trump tweeted out a video of him "beating up" CNN

The way to become an American dictator is just to do it with memes. That way you're laughing WITH him until suddenly you realize what happened.

Maybe he is outplaying some people.

Sorry, I find this humorous and he's obviously laughing about it also but watch everyone go apeshit over this
It'd be humourous if the President didn't spend his time making the press out to be the enemy of the people and then encouraging violence against people who disagree with him. This is trump taking that message and portraying it as himself beating on the press physically. That shit isn't funny.

Yeah, real funny that Trump's actively attacking the press and doing his best to discredit the media. Fucking hilarious how a guy who watches Infowars and has enough connections with the National Enquirer to basically make him a chief editor is blackmailing and posting memes about him destroying actual news organizations. Just can't stop typing LOL and spamming laugh/crying emojis as Trump wages a twitter war with the media while ignoring National Pride Month and the frightening amount of shootings that have happened in the recent weeks.

Fuck you if you think this is funny. Our personal information is being given away to justify a lie and our healthcare is being stripped away by a President posting wrestling memes.

That's the only way he could win that fight.

Hey look it's a gif of Donald Trump fake beating up a fake CNN.

Great job Donnie.

The actual POTUS just tweeted a gif of him attacking a prominent US news agency...

Something big must have him shook.

Just tragic.

This is funny in the way that it's sad that a fucking president is tweeting this shit. A guy who is supposed to represent a whole country is tweeting stupid memes.

Let’s limit the power held by the position of President going forward. I think that’s a reasonable reaction to this embarrassing mess of an Executive Branch.

This gif is so goofy and uncouth that I cannot imagine the President of the United States posting it. Nothing surprises me anymore.

I don’t want want one deeply flawed and impulsive man to have the power and legal authority to bomb civilians and unilaterally shape foreign policy.

Trump's authoritarian tendencies towards a free press were on full display last year. He posed a clear existential threat, and yet the press largely didn't take him seriously; you can tell this by what they did choose to cover.

The press can't claim to be shocked at any of this.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
sure will be funny when in the near future some psycho tries to make an attempt on a journalist's life because of their "fake" news.

It's bound to happen.
And Trump will only make it worse when he praises the person for doing so.

Call your reps and senators everyone!

Encouraging violence by this gif feels like a stretch... Come on.
Nobody is going to body slam a corporation.

CNN will just look even more out of touch by responding in a serious tone towards a gif tweeted in jest.

Sure it's wild the POTUS account posted a funny gif in the first place. Maybe focus on how that portrays us internationally would have stronger legs.

Really? Gabbi Giffords was almost assassinated and the response from the right was to buy up a shit tonne of guns because they assumed Obama was coming for them.

We're way past the point of dehumanization

A now-congressman literally body slammed a journalist mere weeks ago.
